The Ebha Mosaic Dress

A thoughtful interplay of craft and composition, The Ebha Mosaic Dress is crafted in breathable linen, brought to life through structured deep indigo batik and soft marigold eco prints. Each square tells its own quiet story, hand-dyed, naturally printed, and intentionally placed to create a rhythm of color and texture. The relaxed silhouette, button-down front, and easy drape lend it a sense of effortless movement, while the artisanal wax batik adds depth without excess. Light yet structured, it transitions seamlessly from slow mornings to long, unhurried days. Rooted in tradition yet distinctly contemporary, this piece embodies mindful luxury—where natural dyes, hand processes, and modern design meet in balance. Intricate kantha and bullion knot hand embroidery is done to make it an artisanal piece.

We believe that our clients would love to know how our garments are made. 4 meters of linen / linen crafted in to make this shirt.  The lines are first drawn with wax line and formed the squares/ box like panels.   Alternate boxes are filled with wax on the fabric to create the resist, and then dyed in indigo. Then the marigold petals are place on the indigo boxes to crate eco print on them. Then the fabric is put into hot water to melt the wax, finally it is washed in cold water to the resist-dye technique of wax batik.  It is steamed before the melting of the wax to get the marigold eco print.  Out tailor semi stitch the garment and prepare it for the detailing.  After all its detailing are done,  it goes back to our tailor for final stitching and finishing.
